Engineering is always a camper favorite, and Summer 2024 will be our most exciting engineering camp yet! Engineers at Camp Brainy Bunch will participate in hands-on, collaborative design challenges that will call upon their creativity and critical thinking skills.

| Junior engineers will dive headfirst into the Engineering Design Process, navigating an environment of inquiry, discovery, and daring experimentation. Embracing the philosophy that learning stems from challenges, students will engage in projects centered around catapults, bridge construction, and designing mechanical cars. We encourage the initial hurdles, as they become opportunities to learn from mistakes and enhance our creations. |
Senior engineers will be participating in design challenges like building amazing mechanical cars, building zip-lines, and studying potential and kinetic energy through creating roller coasters. This year we are adding a water filtration challenge and an oil spill clean up simulation lab. Along the way, students will learn about how the field of engineering is solving the problems of today and the future. Each new day starts with a “Dream Job” connection, introducing engineers to different fields within science such as robotics, chemistry, and even animation. *Interns and Seniors may have some overlapping activities but Interns are in a different grouping keeping in mind the level of support they may need |

| Crafted by experienced educators, our curriculum caters to diverse scholars with tailored scaffolds and challenges. Advanced campers will be asked to articulate their ideas clearly verbally and in writing, optimize various parameters of their projects, or turn their ideas into a detailed proposal for "Brainy Engineering, Inc." | ||

| Daily Morning Meetings to build culture, lasting memories and friendships! Brain Breaks! It's summer after all so let's PLAY! Brain Breaks allow us to transition between curriculum activities. Brain Breaks feature classic camp games as well as unique activities that follow the weekly theme. We also encourage our staff to be their authentic selves by hosting games/activities near and dear to them. Fun Friday Celebrations! Every Friday we acknowledge the success of our campers and host a much deserved water day to cool off from the summer heat! |
